Time to retire the hunt

Z&A Productions first conceived of The Femdom Hunt back in 2011 and since then, with the help of the wider femdom community on the Second Life grid, we've had seven very successful and highly-enjoyable hunts spanning seven years. Starting with the second hunt, the hunt has always been announced on August 1st. Because of this I wanted to write a little post for anyone expecting one today.

The hunt has always been very important to me and I've proudly taken a lot of care over creating a framework in which femdom owners and store owners can come together and make it the brilliant event it is. However, since the previous hunt, my RL has changed quite a bit and the time that I can dedicate to an event like this just isn't enough any more.

With this in mind, I think it's time to retire the hunt. I'd much sooner we go out on a high, having had many years of fun, than try and keep it going and not be able to do as good a job -- as the organiser, as a store owner and as a femdom location owner.

I’d like to thank everyone — location owners and hunters — who have ever taken part and made the hunt the event it is, with the good name it has, and with the expectation of fun that it has created. If you were making plans for taking part this year, in any way, please accept my deepest apologies.

  3. Sad to see it going, but going out on a high is the best way. It was an honour to be involved :)

  4. Of course I'm disappointed for me that the hunt will retire. It's been a wonderful mix of fun and frustration trying to work out the clues and we're all indebted to you for organizing it. I've met many friends in the hunt and found new stores so, again, thank you for that.

Most important to me, though, is that you had fun with it and I hope that the RL reason are all good :)

On the positive side, I guess I get a group back :)

Thank you, thank you, thank you for all you've done!
